Possible to collect Management Port (fa1) on Cat4500-X ?

Dear all,

I have already verified the following output however actually is it normally impossible to collect with management port

on Cat4500-X?

The following is related URL which says Flow collection is supported on Port however it does not say Management Port that is why...

Flow collection is supported on multiple targets (Port, VLAN, per-port per-VLAN
(FNF can be enabled on a specific VLAN on a given port)) and on a port-channel (FNF is configured on the port-channel interface,
rather than individual member ports).

It appears that you need 03.08.00.E or later to get all the features you need. See link:

Currently the Cat4500-X is running on IOS-XE-Ver.3.6.9 but the bootflash has IOS-XE-Ver.3.9 so now I am going to try on upgrade version. Thank you for your quick feedback.

Glad to help!

It appears that you have both versions loaded on the flash. So, it is just a matter of changing the boot variable to 03.09.00.E.152-5.E.bin and reloading the switch.

Thank you for your support, unfortunately even if it is IOS-XE-Ver.3.9.0.E, the output looks same.

Hi,

There doesn't seem to be any document supporting this function on the out-of-band management port. So, you may want to use a regular port for this purpose.
