I was wondering, why there was no PSK support for MACsec , on host facing links, though it claims to support IEEE802.1X-Rev . MKA ( key management protocol for Macsec) is a part of 802.1x-Rev. as per the standard the PAE should support a preshared key, in case of either a failure of authentication or in case when the EAP is disable for authentication part. I see that its a different case for Switch -Switch links (10G links).
i was going throuh the manuals but couldnt find any. My interest is to establish asecure session with a PSK on host and Switch.
Please help.
