When you define a QOS policy on the Nexus and you have a priority queue do you have to allocate bandwith for this queue.
According to this QOS policy that was presented at Cisco Live it didn't reserve any bandwidth.
N5k(config)# policy-map type queuing policy-BW
N5k(config-pmap-que)# class type queuing class-1
N5k(config-pmap-c-que)# priority
N5k(config-pmap-c-que)# class type queuing class-2
N5k(config-pmap-c-que)# bandwidth percent 40
N5k(config-pmap-c-que)# class type queuing class-fcoe
N5k(config-pmap-c-que)# bandwidth percent 40
N5k(config-pmap-c-que)# class type queuing class-default
N5k(config-pmap-c-que)# bandwidth percent 20
Other QOS policies I see on the Internet do reserve the bandwidth for the priority queue, which is correct
