Hi.
I have a 9300L running IOS 17.3.1 and want to capture DHCP packets from 2 clients. An AP and a switch doing PNP.
But I can only capture the packets from the device, and not the return traffic to the devices.
The switch is running as FIAB.
I have tried with both monitor capture and monitor session, but gets the same results.
monitor session 1 source interface Te1/0/23 - 24 monitor session 1 destination interface Gi1/0/13
I have tried all possible options for to allow for encapsulation, but nothing works.
My monitor capture did the same, and only collected incoming packets.
The devices gets an IP no problem, but I cannot capture the traffic.
Am I going crazy or is this a common problem?
