Hello,
I just received a refurbished Cisco 861 wireless router and have been trying to configure it. I have followed the steps for setting it up, but every time I type a command with dot11, I get the invalid input message. It appears that there should be a Dot11 interface as well, but there is not.
I would prefer to configure it through the CLI, but frustration has led me to try to access it through the GUI. I set the FastEthernet 4 IP address so that I could access it, then logged in. However, I am told that my browser is too old and that java is not enabled -- neither of which is true. The window says that I am using Netscape 7, which I am not. So that is a dead-end as well.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. The software info is below:
