QoS on WS-C4900M

Hello ,

I tried to enable QoS globalay in our 4900m switch without success ,

Cisco IOS Software, Catalyst 4500 L3 Switch Software (cat4500e-ENTSERVICES-M), V

ersion 15.0(2)SG1, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc4)

i just have to enter qos in config mode to enable it , but the switch didn't accpet that any idia please ?

With the 4900M

You need to look down the document to this section

You configurecthe QOS you want by classmaps/policicy maps

You do not apply qos/mls qos like a 3750 etc like switch(config)#mls qos...
