Hello, Hoping someone could answer the question. Following bug states that "no negotiate auto" was provided as a work around for Nexus 3000. But I know from personal experience that "no negotiate auto" on Nexus 3000's QSFP-40G-CR4 would cause "link failure" after reboot which required shut/no shut on the interface to recover. I believe this is due to Nexus N3K Bug - CSCun84544. So, are we applying a bug CSCun84544 as a work around for following bug?
Symptom:
links across N3K-N9K platforms are down
Conditions:
QSFP-40G-CR4/CISCO-LEONI cable type are being used to connect N3K-N9K platforms
Workaround:
1. Some of the N9K or thirdparty switches do not support autonegotiation on 40G CR4 cable due to hardware restriction. So disable autonegotiation on Nexus 3000 end also to be compatible with N9K.
