Hi fellow forum members.
In one of my networks I use etherchannel between my access layer (mainly 3750s) and distribution layer (6500). Right now I am using a load-balance method of src-mac, and I'd like to switch to src-dst-ip.
When I make the change, do both switches participating in the port-channel need to have the same load-balance method configured at the same time? Or is it possible that I can change one first and do the other at a later stage?
Regards,
Jason

Each end of the etherchannel can use whatever load balancing algorithm makes the most sense so no they do not need to match.
