Question about VSS on C4506E(Sup-7E)

Hi Experts,

I have a question about the Supervisor Engine 7-E in Cat4506E with VSS mode.

Refer the newly release note for IOS XE3.4.0SG,"When you use WS-X45-SUP7-E in RPR or SSO mode, only the first two uplinks on each supervisor

engine are available. The second two uplinks are unavailable.".

Is this message only apply in VSS mode of 2xCat4500E(Sup7E) with Dual SUP and SSO enabled? And that means 4x10G ports in each C4506E(Single SUP) in VSS mode is still available?

Yes and no.

If you have a single chassis and you have dual supervisor cards, only the first two 10 Gbps ports (per supervisor card) are enabled.  The third and fourth are disabled.
