Hi,

I picked up a nice ws-C3560-24ps -S V063560 as a trade in.  it is marked ios 12.2(25)SEE3 on the back.  what file would I be looking for to upgrade it to the latest IOS for that model?  Since it is 10/100 and manufactured in 2007 it is probably pretty old.  Want to upgrade it to use for a lab switch to play around with layer 3 commands and vlan's.

thanks!   Jeff

According to this link -

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/switches/catalyst-3560-24ps-switch/model.html#~tab-downloads

the latest is 12.2(55)SE10 but you will need a support contract to be able to download IOS versions as they are not free.

If you don't have one then you can still use the L3 features etc. your current IOS has.

Jon

I have some devices under support, would either of the first two files  do me any good?  a little unclear of the differences.

Never used express setup but the other images should be fine.

Check the memory on your switch before loading image.

The IP Services image will give you more L3 features.
