I have an 871 router (FastEthernet4 is my WAN/Internet link) and it's connected to my ISP with a physical speed of 10Mbps but my ISP is policing me down to 1.5Mbps up
Is there a quick-and-dirty traffic shaping policy that I can apply on my WAN interface that will let my router do the shaping to 1.5Mbps and not have the harsh policing by the ISP? I don't care about individual protocols which seems to be most of the QoS documents that I run across... I just want to shape down all my outgoing traffic to 1.5Mbps
Anybody have such a config that they could share?
