"show run" Displays Configuration Out of Order

Hello Community,

We have L3 switch that when I perform a "show run" it displays configured interfaces out of order or sequence.  For example:

interface GigabitEthernet3/39

switchport

switchport trunk encapsulation dot1q

switchport trunk allowed vlan 3000

switchport mode trunk

!

interface GigabitEthernet3/43

switchport

switchport access vlan 2000

!

interface GigabitEthernet3/1

switchport

switchport access vlan 2000

!

interface GigabitEthernet3/2

switchport

switchport access vlan 2000

!

interface GigabitEthernet3/3

switchport

switchport access vlan 2000

I have never seen this occur and it happens to newly configured interfaces.  Is there something that I have done wrong?  A bug in the IOS?  Configured interfaces work fine, just out of order in the running config.  Any insight would be great!

  Try it again, if it's reproduceable  then it's probably a bug though cosmetic it could be confusing if in a troubleshooting  situation . Contact TAC it's an issue that's bothersome , though they will tell you to upgrade before you try anything else. Look for bugs in the bugtracker .
