Hello All,

Please let me know whether a Cisco Router 2911 would work on images other than universal image. This is the question raised by one of our customer. He has 2811 Router where-in he has configured T1/E1 configuration, terminated to Zyxel Modem and working fine. Now he wants to replace this 2811 router with 2911 router. Since the universal image in 2911 router is not working with the present configuration in 2811 router, he wants to know, what options are there for him to configure this in 2911.

Depends on what feature set the 2811 and the 2911 are using now.

For the 2911, kindly post the output to the command "sh license".

Let me reframe my question.

Topology consisted of router 2911 on Site A. This router is connected to 2 other routers on Site B and Site C. On Site B, router 2811 is present and on Site C, Zyxel router is present. All are connected through T1/E1 cloud. Connectivity between Site A and Site B is working(Cisco to Cisco), but between Site A and Site C(Cisco to Zyxel) is not working. Please let me know any info you need.
