Redundant Power System (RPS) 2300 behaviour

Hello all.

We have an old RPS system, rps 300, that supply redundant power supply to our switches when primary power source becames unavailable, but when primary return, switches remain into RPS power, and we need to reboot switches to return to normality.

With new RPS2300 this behaviour is the same? Or when primary power source return available, switches return to use it? New switches that we want to buy are 3560 or 3560-E.

Thanks

Daniele

Hi,

both C3750-E and C3560-E will NOT reload when converting back from RPS power to their own power supply.

All other types WILL reload when converting back .

HTH,

Dario
