Hi in nxos 9.3.12 i have many routes /24 /21 /20 have bgp community no-export
Now i want Create bgp Session with ASX and announce all routes to ASX
ASX is ebgp
How can do this by route-map ??
route-map no-export, permit, sequence 10
Match clauses:
ip address prefix-lists: no-export
Set clauses:
community none
Prefix list no-export is 0.0.0.0/ le 24 true config ???

No export meaning this prefix can not pass to ebgp neighbor.

Hi admin@atrinnet.net ,
The no-export community causes the prefixes not to be considered for advertisement to ASX, so the route-map can't be applied outbound on the bgp session to ASX.
The route-map looks good, but it needs to be applied inbound on the bgp session where these prefixes are learnt for it to work.

Hi admin@atrinnet.net ,
As I mentioned in my previous post, the only way to have these prefixes to be advertised to any neighbors would be to remove the no-export community when these prefixes are received on the local device.
This will not work with an outbound route-map, as the prefixes will not even be considered for advertisement to any neighbors.

Hello admin@atrinnet.net ,
as it has been explained by @Harold Ritter you cannot remove the BGP community no-export on an outbound applied route-map because it is too late!
You need to apply route-maps on your inbound neighbors to remove the BGP community no-export in order to make these prefixes eligible for advertisement to an eBGP neighbor.
It requires more job, but you want to change an attribute that is applied to make the prefixes not exported outside the AS.
Hope to help
