Replicate configuration between two Cisco 6509-E

Hey I have two devices that needs to be able to replicate configuration between them. For example if I make a configuration change on A it should automatically replicate and same configuration should be made on B.

I'm using WS-6509(R7000) processor (revision 2.0) and c6sup2-rp-psv-m, iOS version 12.1(26)E6. The supervisor module is a Catalyst 6000 supervisor 2 model WS-X6K-SUP2-GE. Sub-Modules are Policy Feature Card 2 and a Cat6k MSFC 2 daughterboard.

I've looked up on VSS but thats not possible on these supervisors correct? I was looking on RPR but it seems it needs to be in the same chassi? I've also looked on MSFC config sync but I dont find any useful information if its possible or not. 

I also find that the iOS isnt supporting SSH? do I need to upgrade this ? and if possible can I take iOS from example a 3750 or are the iOS's device locked?

HI

You can only put a specific ios for that platform on it not from any other platform  , and if you require ssh you need to use an image with K9 for crypto services

there is no automated feature between devices that copies configuration over between them unless there in the same chassis and are syncing together , VSS acts as one unit and yes it requires specific VSS sups and blades , you need to manually copy it over or use software like Prime that can apply it to both switches at same time if there in different independent switches

that supervisor is end of life a long time so you may not be able to download any software for it , I don't see it having anything available online to download

Hi yes problem is there all deferred meaning you cant download them , so many bugs were found in them Cisco put them in deferred state , meaning it would be a huge risk if you deployed them on your platform so they have removed them
