Restoring N7K VDCs

Hi,  say I need to replace the whole chassis and I do have the backup config files.

Questions

1. When I do a "show running-config vdc-all" from default VDC, its seems that it contains only the resource allocation for the various VDCs, I can see the whole config only when I log in to the various VDC individually.  How do I capture all the running-configs for all the VDCs at one go ?

2. How do I restore everything from stratch for all the VDCs with the easiest method ? And do I need to re-create all the VDCs again before applying the backup configurations to them ?

Hi,

according to the command reference "show running-config vdc-all" should show all the configs for all the VDCs.

Make sure you are logged in as one of these user roles:

Supported User Roles

network-admin
network-operator
vdc-admin
vdc-operator

thanks reza, how about the VDCs portion ? Do I need recreate everything ?
