How can I know if the SFP supports Multi Mode (MM) or Single Mode(SM) or is there a way to retrieve the SFP model somehow?

Best regards,

Re: Retrieve SFP model number Cisco 3750

You can find it by looking at the description of the SFP module in this output.

SX - Short Wavelength ( ie Multi Mode module)

LX - Long Wavelength (ie Single Mode module)

In your case it appear as below which indicating it is MM SFP module.

"DESCR: "1000BaseSX SFP"

Here  is some reference to this (old but still valid)
