Hello,

I have an issue with new c2960C-8TC-L switch.

G0/1 and G0/2 port doesn't works while interfaces work in rj45 mode.

Same interfaces work well in "SFP" mode.

Have you any idea?

It was L1 problem. I solved this problem by changing ordinary cables with shielded crimp rj45 cables.

You mean while you inserting GLC-T it is not working?

it has support either copper or SFP ?

2 x 1G copper or 2 x 1G SFP

can you post the compatibility while you insert GLC-T

This switch has 2 GigabitEthernet ports. Each port has capability to work either with sfp or copper-rj45

I don't have GLC-T to  check.

Can you post the full  configuration  ?

along with show interface status ?

I'm a little confused on this. You say the ports don't work in rj-45 mode but work fine in SFP mode, then you say you don't have an SFP to test. Personally, I have not had any problems with the gig ports on this model of switch as long as I use the media-type command on the interface

Sorry, May be I was not so correct.

I didnt try with glct. but I have tested with sfp, that was working well.
