Role based CLI in 6500

Dear Friends,

Has somebody worked on Role Based CLI in Catalyst 6500 switches?

I am working on a 6500 with IOS version 12.2(33)SXH3 IP Services version but i am not getting the options enable view or parser view.

Looking forward to your kind guidance on this.

If the command is not available, it is most likely not supported in SXH3.

You can use "software advisor" to check if it is supported or not.

Thanks for the info. Its ok if its not supported. I just wanted to know if anyone knows of an alternative to Role based CLI in 6500

AAA would be a nice alternative to role based cli

Thanks John. We are not going to integrate these devices with ACS.

So, i am looking at some local a/c privilege level command assigments.

Please do let me know of any link or idea that you can suggest in this case for the Cat 6500.
