Here is the scenario
I have Catalyst 3750. and 2 ISPs
I wanted to use, let say on port5 of Catalyst 3750 only 2nd the ISP will route to this port.
The rest is pointed to the 1st ISP.
Im thinking of using VLAN.. anyway pls advice how should I do it..
Thank you in advance.
if what you want to achieve is some type of traffic uses ISP1 and other uses ISP2 then you'll have to use PBR:
Now you can use either a SVI or a routed port for connecting to ISPs.
of course Paolo's answer reminded me that indeed this is a switch that doesn't support NAT( the only one I know that supports it is the 6500 serie) so you'll need a router indeed to go on the internet.
Im using L3 switch.
What I'd like to do, is
if I use example Vlan 30
route traffic for Vlan 30 to a specific port that is configured to default Gateway of 10.0.0.137 which is my secondary ISP
here is the scenario to make it clear. I want PC1 to access the ISP 2 on the specific port Fa0/2.
then again, all pc's the default gateway is ISP1.
Would you think ACL is the bestway to answer my question?
