Router Cisco 1905 Firmware Update Failure

Hello,

I'm having trouble to upgrade the firmware on Router Cisco 1905/K9.

Today we have some of these routers in stock running the firmware "c1900-universalk9-mz.SPA.150-1.M8.bin" and when I try upgrade to version 153-3.M4 or 154-3.M5 the router presents error: SYSTEM INIT: INSUFFICIENT MEMORY TO BOOT THE IMAGE!

The Routers that I’m testing the update have 256MB of RAM (229376K / 32768K) and firmware requirement is 256 DRAM / Flash.

By using the same firmware on Cisco1905/K9 with 512 RAM, firmware works and i run the “show memory” command you can check the router consumes far more than 256 of RAM.

Would be a Cisco failure when release this firmware for the 1905/K9 model with 256 RAM?

Has anyone had the same problem?

Regards.

Obrigado.
