Hi,
I currently have BT Home Hub with a DMZ and port forwarding configured. Unfortunately, the home hub does not have the capability to configure rules based on source/destination IP addresses so I need something that I can configure ACLs on but, since we don't need much throughput I don't think I will need something too high-end. In the DMZ, there is only CCTV and a few client devices so I want to use the home hub as an access point and more the rest of the configurations onto a better router such as an 887 - do you think this wil be sufficent ?
Thanks,
Tom

Hi there,
If you are still planning on keeping the homehub to act as the CE router to your ISP, then you don't need a 887. Instead choose a C881-K9 or CISCO881-K9 . The latter includes a bulit-in wireless option. Both will offer you all the fun of a Cisco router without the unnecessary WAN interface.
cheers,
Seb.
