RSPAN

Hi,

I'm sitting at Level 1 and i want to monitor the port at Level 2. Can anyone tell me how to configure RSPAN?

I will say just have a look at this link. This will guide you with sample config on 2950 and will also explain you about RSPAN.

Hi Sam,

May be we need bit more information. What is level 1 and level 2, is it the floor levels in your organisation?

Also which switches you have in your network on which you want to configure RSPAN.

You can read this link which will guide you to configure RSPAN on 3750 switch.

Hi Ankur,

Thanks for reply. Yes, Level 1 and Level 2 are referring to the floor levels in my organization. Both levels are using 2950. Can give an example configuration in this situation?
