We're starting to prep for CapEx expenditures, part of which will include a few switch upgrades (hopefully). I've been we're a small broadcast / streaming shop currently running on SG3xx series switches, looking to move up to the SX550x series with 24Ps and a 10Gbs 24F for core.
In my research , I see there is an MP version with an extra fan and slightly higher power usage, but no info on what is functionally different between the P and MP version.
Also, looking at the Meraki and Catalyst lines and wondering if either of those might be a better play from a management stance. My guess is that functionally, given our very small footprint, any of these will do the job.
