Selecting the right power cable for the 3750X

Hi all,

I just spec'ing up a kit list for a couple of 3750X's for one of our sites. At the site they have a couple of PDUs deployed with the IEC C14 power outlet. I noticed on the datasheet of the 3750X that the power receptacle is a C16. I also noticed on the datasheet that the recommended cable is the CAB-C15-CBN. I recall (a few years back) trying to use a C15 power lead with this model of switch, and I think I had to force the cable in because of the small notch at the bottom of the C16 receptacle. Can anybody confirm the appropriate cable to use and the Cisco recommended part number? Or would I have to buy a few of these cables and arrange to have the C15 replaced with a C16 outlet. Seems odd that I would have to do this?

Thanks

The cable you mentioned will work just fine with the C15 connector.

The C15 should work just fine. There should be no need to change the outlet.
