As the https://tmgmatrix.cisco.com/home, say that is compatible:
Do you know what reason of this behavior?

I have many switches of same model that yours and i have the many SPF 10GB-SR working normally.
Cisco IOS Software, C2960X Software (C2960X-UNIVERSALK9-M), Version 15.2(2)E6, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1)
