Hi,

I plan to buy two SFP module for my switch device WS-C2960X-24TS-LL.

A lots of model are compliant with my device, but it's impossible to know différences... so crazy !!

I think that GLC-SX-MMD reference seems the best ... ?!

A lots of SFP Module are available on EBay or another website...

How can i know if this SFP Module are genuine or Counterfeit/fake module ?

Does it can be possible to enter the serial number somewhere to know it myself ?

Does any information present on the stick can be usefull to challenge it ?

Best Regards.

Hi , You can check serial numbers in the Cisco trade tool , but a Cisco login is required. The tool display part-ID (even bundle part-ID country of manufacturer.
