hi all,
I used Cisco ME 3400E Series with 12 dual-purpose (10/100/1000 and Small Form-Factor Pluggable [SFP]) ports, four SFP uplinks. Could I plug other vendor SFP into Cisco ME 3400?
Thx,
Dn Quynh

Hi,
Be careful with that, as not all vendor's SFP work with Cisco devices. I know that Transition Networks SFPs work with Cisco devices, but that is not the case with all the other vendors. Talk to your sales guy before you order it.

Thank Reza Sharifi,
Could you send me a link or documents about: Cisco devices has compatible with other vendor's SFP. I search on Google and Cisco, but I only find Cisco devices has compatible some vendors (not detail or all vendors).
Quynh DN.
