Hiya,
We have some Nexus 3548 switches and want to enable port tracking. This can be done with any gb ethernet interface, but to setup linked interfaces Cisco state that the linked interfaces must be physical fibre interfaces.
Would SFP interfaces with fibre attached, be classed as physical fibre interfaces, or would we have to have a unit/module with fixed fibre channel interfaces?
cheers Mike

Yes, SFP is a type of connector and the fiber is the cable. Fiber connects using SFP.

Hiya,
Basically what I'm want to know is if an SFP with fibre would support being a linked port with port tracking.
