Single-Rate and Dual-Rate configuration

Hi Regarding Qos, anyone can tell if Single-Rate and Dual-Rate policy can be configured at almost all cisco routers or switch? or send me a link. Thank you

Hello,

the short answer is: IOS routers do QoS in software, so they all support dual-rate policing. For Catalyst switches: they do QoS in hardware ASICs, the only way to find out what they support is to check the configuration guide for each model.

Unless someone has assembled a complete list of all models, which I am not aware of...
