Hi,

we would like to implement slb but we are requested when service on all rservers for one vserver is down

to reply client requests with TCP RST (to their TCP SYNs comming to SLB vserver service).

Please dont you know if SLB reacts this way or is configurable?

Thanks in advance.

mmmm to be honest your question is not clear. which slb are you using? F5?

One of the default health monitor is tcp_default and the slb sends a tcp syn, server respond with syn-ack and slb send a reset and mark the health checking success. it does it the default time 5 seconds it does this level of checking.
