I am trying to get SLB working on my 6500. Am confused about the setup configuration. I have entered the following configuration but I cannot access the VIP.
Web server01 - 10.0.16.70/20 - VLAN 3
Web server02 - 10.0.16.71/20 - VLAN 3
VIP - 10.0.16.73/20 - VLAN 3
I am confused about creating the serverFarm, it does not ask for subnet mask of the real servers, only the IP address. Can this be the issue. Do I need to configure it for a VLAN? I have tried ping the VIP, but noting happens. I have followed the instruction from here:
