Hi,
Any idea about Signal-to-noise ratio? how does this impact communication? i have one Site having DSL connection and we have observed frequent discconection? further,when we reached to ISP they said it was SNR issue? has some one exp this ? any fix?

Hello,
SNR is a ratio that indicates how times signal is greater that noise. SNR in a copper wire can be affected
by many reasons. The issue is that SNR>7dB is needed to DSL works fine. You can ask your ISP that
change the copper pair that you are using. Some routers works better than other in noisy wired (zyxel for example).
The last option is to reduce your DSL speed because low rate can work better.
