SPAN port configuration - VM host

Hi,

I have a VM cluster enviornment and one of the VM hosts traffic needs to be monitored.

The VM cluster has a DV switch configured consisting of multiple port groups for each vlan present.

The VM clusters are connected to the core switch via trunk ports. They are all working fine.

I would like to know how can i configure span port on the core switch to monitor one specific Virtual host.

Since you only want to monitor the traffic on one VM is there any reason you don't monitor on the VM itself instead of the swich? I'm no expert so I'm not suggesting that is the best course of action. I'm asking to learn.
