Hi guys,

one of my switch ports suddenly went into spanning tree LBK state. the switch is not configured with any vlans or any extravagant configs, basically its plug and play. the port which went into LBK state has got a wireless access point connecting to it. what could have caused this and how can i clear it?

Hi Amos,

Spanning Tree LBK mode is basically a Loopback state, and doesn't mater if you have any vlans configured on that switch or not.

Do you see any error logs on the switch related to this interface?

Do a shut/no shut to the interface and see if that works.

Thanks

Ankur
