Spanning tree on Nexus 7K's or 5K's

I have two 7k's in a vpc domain and each have a vpc connection to two 5k's who are also in their own vpc domain.

Layer three vlan interfaces are on the 7k's

5k's (layer 2) have 2232's along with some netapp servers attached to them

My question is should i set up spanning tree on the 7k's instead of the 5ks? If so should i configure any spanningtree settings on the 5k's

if i did set up the 7k's as root's below are an example of the added lines i would configure

switch(config-vpc-domain)# peer-switch

switch(config)# spanning-tree vlan 1-200 priority 4096

The 7ks as roots with the priority and peer-switch commands as you show above would be best practice. With that, you wouldn't have to make any non-default spanning-tree settings on the 5k switches.
