Spanning-tree on trunk ports connected to WLC and APs

So far I've only used the spanning-tree portfast command on edge ports and kept the trunk ports (in a multi VLAN environment) connected to devices like WLC, AP and Servers as it is. So, is it recommended to keep it that way, or change it to Spanning-tree portfast trunk?

            - In a first approach you don't need trunk-ports to capwap based ap's and single home servers.
