Hi, please i need your help

I can´t configurate speed in a giga port on WS-C3560-24PS-S

switch(config-if)#speed ?

nonegotiate  Do not negotiate speed

do you know if the port support speed 100??

because I need to connect with 2955C-12 switch in one port: 100BASE-FX (Multimode Fiber) uplinks, this port its only 100mbps?

and the switch C3750G-12S-E can I configurate the ports on 100mbps?

Hi,

On the fiber ports the speed is not negotiable.  You can't connect Gig port fiber to 100MB port fiber.

Hi

I am not 100% clear on what you want to do.

But it sounds like you want to connect a 100Mbit fx cable that you have already have to/from somewhere to your gig switch.

If so is the case you would need to use the GLC-GE-100FX SFP.

The 100BaseFx module will only negotiate to 100 Mbps, FULL duplex.  This is why you won't be given configuration options to set the speed and/or duplex setting.

Now, if the local end is a 100BaseFx and the other end is a 1000BaseFX, then don't expect the link to come up unless the remote end can negotiate to 100 mbps.
