Hello,

what are the spine devices, are these layer 3 devices ? You might want to consider VRRP aware PIM...

Hi Georg,

Yes, spine devices are L3 switches.

Thanks

Hello,

Anycast with RP redundancy is another good choice in your case:

RP Redundancy with PIM SM - Anycast RP

https://community.cisco.com/t5/network-architecture-documents/rp-redundancy-with-pim-sm-anycast-rp/ta-p/3116911

Is there differece between Anycast RP and MSDP? it is confusing.

Thanks

Hello

Personally haven’t had any great hands on dealing with ACI although I have read a great deal on it and been on a couple of courses - I am aware MC within ACI infrastructure is a bit different -I guess the apic's would be involved in some way to install it than as to a “standard “ L3 design topology for MC

Have a a look at this - I hope it can assist you?

May be also it would be applicable to relocate your query towards the Data Center Forum specific to ACI?
