Stacking Cat 3750

Hi Experts,

I'm experimenting with stacking two catalyst 3750's ver 12.2(25)SEE1 and 12.2(25)SEB4. The 12.2(25)SEE1 became the stack master and overwrote code on my ver SEB4 switch. Is there a way to get my original IOS version and codes back onto my 12.2(25)SEB4 switch w/o having to blow it away.

If you have one particular switch you want as master , you have to give it a priority of 15 . If there was enough room in flash the old version should still be there , just do a "dir flash1: or dir flash2: and see if you can locate it . If its still there you can probably discconect the stack cables console in and delete the 12.2.25 SEE1 image and reboot the switch . SEE1 is newer so it picked that code and loaded it , not sure why you need the older code .

Correct command to delete flash file?

file name <2 -rwx 7205024 date c3750-ipbasek9-mz.122-25.SEE2.bin>

This same file reside on both flash directories and there are several others with a copy of each in both flash directories.

Will I need to delete the file in question from both directories?

Will switch automatically revert back to previous flash file?
