Our company currently has 2 switches - a Cisco SG500-52P and a Cisco SG500x-48P. We are trying to stack these units and connect them to get the highest throughput on out network that we can.
I bought 2 StarTech Compatible Gigabit RJ45 Copper SFP Transceiver Module, (StarTech part number: SFPC1110). On the SG500-52P, I have the transceiver in the G51/G52 stack, and on the SG500x-48P, the transceiver is in the XG3/XG4 stack.
I've tried numerous times and looked at various setup screens, but I can't figure out how to set this up so that it will work how we want it to.
Please advise on the proper way to set these up. Thanks.

I wonder if you have looked at this document:
"The default stack ports on the 500X are XG3/S1 and XG4/S2. If the correct module is plugged into XG3/S1 and XG4/S2, the switch should be able to detect the connection and configure the speed according to the module capability without any manual configuration.
The default stack ports on the 500 are S3 and S4. If the correct module is plugged into S3 and S4, the switch should able to detect the connection and configure the speed according to the module capability without any manual configuration."
- My suggestions: You can try to use the default ports on the SG500-52P.

If you still have problems configuring the stack I will suggest you to open a case with CISCO TAC.
