stackwise-virtual 9500 Configuration without Reboot

Hi everyone,

Per cisco docs:

"Dynamic addition and removal of SVL links are supported on the Cisco Catalyst 9500X Series Switches, and therefore, a reload is not required for adding or removing the SVL links when the device is already operating in SVL mode."

"Dynamic addition and removal of DAD links are supported on Cisco Catalyst 9500X Series Switches, and therefore, a reload is not required for adding or removing the DAD links when the device is already operating in SVL mode."

Switches are already in SVL with single link. I ran two new cables, 10gb optic. Confiqured DAD link which was missing which worked fine. But when trying to set the second pair to be secondary SVL link, had no success.

I don't even see the command under the interfaces. Am i missing something?

Port still shows in vlan 1 and does not show under the stackwise show commands. Only pre-existing port.

Is cisco statement wrong on SVL links?

I ended up having to reboot this in a maintenace window. It worked as expected.
