Stackwise Virtual Link - 9500-48YC

Hi Guys,

When using SVL, can I have more than 2 switches in my domain? I am trying to connect x3 9500-48YC switches together using x2 10G connections to each stack member, when I reload, I am getting Chassis 1 reloading, reason - number of switches exceeds maximum supported.

Maximum of 2 supported.

SVL support only 2, you can have more domains.

Thanks for confirming. Any plans to increase to 3?

Not that i am aware of going to add more, SVL / VSS - 2 devices only.

curious to know - different view from you, why do we need 3 ?
