Stopping a specific error from logging on C9300/C9500

Is there a way I can stop the logging of an error (errors) of specific numbers on the C9300 and C9500 switches. I am using non-Cisco optics and the errors I receive about dbm are irrelevant ....they are just cluttering up the log.

Hello,

for this log message, the discriminator below should work:

Nov 19 08:45:56.292: %SFF8472-3-THRESHOLD_VIOLATION: Hu1/0/48: Tx power high alarm; Operating value: N/A dBm, Threshold value: -5.5 dBm.

logging discriminator POWER severity drops 3 facility drops SFF8472 mnemonics drops THRESHOLD_VIOLATION

logging buffered discriminator POWER 100000
logging console discriminator POWER
logging monitor discriminator POWER
logging host x.x.x.x discriminator POWER

Show us what logs they are.

Hello,

you could configure a logging discriminator. Let's say the error in the logs is this:

%PLATFORM_PM-6-MODULE_ERRDISABLE: The inserted SFP module with interface name Gi0/1/0 is not supported

Then this is how the logging discriminator would be configured, effectively keeping this error from showing up in your logs:

logging discriminator OPTICS severity drops 6 facility drops PLATFORM mnemonics drops MODULE_ERRDISABLE

logging buffered discriminator OPTICS 100000
logging console discriminator OPTICS
logging monitor discriminator OPTICS
logging host x.x.x.x discriminator OPTICS

I may try that logging  discriminator

Nov 19 08:45:56.292: %SFF8472-3-THRESHOLD_VIOLATION: Hu1/0/48: Tx power high alarm; Operating value: N/A dBm, Threshold value: -5.5 dBm.
Nov 19 08:45:56.292: %SFF8472-3-THRESHOLD_VIOLATION: Hu1/0/48: Voltage high alarm; Operating value: N/A, Threshold value: 0.00 V.
Nov 19 08:45:56.292: %SFF8472-3-THRESHOLD_VIOLATION: Hu1/0/48: Temperature low alarm; Operating value: -0.0 C, Threshold value: 35.5 C; Operating value: N/A dBm, Threshold value: -0.8 dBm.

Hello!

Help me too, please. Stack 3x C9300-24T, firmware 16.12.05b. Looks like bug CSCvx96576.

What discriminator is right for messages like this?

001089: Jul 1 10:06:35.675 Moscow: %THERMAL-1-THERMAL_GREEN_THRESHOLD: Switch 1 R0/0: cmand: Hotspot temperature has exceeded GREEN threshold
