Strange switch syslog-msg: CHUNKSIBLINGSEXCEED

Hi all,

we receive this syslog-message from a Catalyst 2960-8TC-L:

Does anybody know what it means?

Hello,

The message relates to memory management of the switch, and is seen on multiple IOS-based platforms, usually during bootup.

There is a current bug open on this issue, CSCsj74064. If you upgrade to 12.2(44)SE or later, the issue will not occur any more.

Please note that the message is only informational and does not typically cause network problems.
