Sup720 with X6848

Hi!

I'm new to this forum.

I would like to know if a card X6848 is compatible with the supervisor 720. In the data sheet but put that on the configurator module is included you DFC4 do not know if you can remove to support DFC3 of 720.

Hi,

Sup 720 doesnt support x6848 line card because it is having DFC4. So it will be supported by supervisor engines which is compatible with DFC4.

Hello Diego,

Sup 720 has PFC3, supports DFC3 LC's and i guess the 6848 is supported from SUP 2T and not on Sup 720.Sup 2T has DFC4 LC support.

This comes in two flavours 48 port fiber/copper,

WS-X6848-SFP-2T (with DFC4)

WS-X6848-SFP-2TXL (with DFC4XL)
