Hello,

I am facing mac flap issue in my network .

i am facing below mention errors .as i observed all mac address associated with server (directly connected to server )

0015.5d9b.cd02
0015.5d08.1902
0015.5d46.8901
0015.5d46.8900
0015.5d46.8902

have some basic questions -

what is meaning of mac flap.why this thing happen .

kindly advice me to resolve this issue

Could you please check what is connected to G1/0/2 and G1/0/7?

whats the cpu on the box?

Gi1/0/2	Server Gb1 (Lower)
Gi1/0/7	Server Gb3 (Lower )
Gi1/0/5	Server RM (Upper)
Gi1/0/10	Server RM (Middle)
Gi1/0/8	Server RM (Lower)

Could you please check if there are 2 cables connecting from server to 2 different switches? if yes check if NIC teaming is correctly configured.

Are you using NIC teaming?

Are swichports Ports 2 and 7 configured as port channels?

Basically you have a config issue somewhere, its either at the switch end or the server end.
