Hello cisco community, I'm writing these lines because a issue with a Cisco 8945 Phone. At the beginning the phone was plugged on a Switch 3550 POE and it was working perfectly, but recently the 3550 was changed with a 3560X, after that change, the phone never turn up.

Is there any command in the switch 3560X that I should use to turn up the 8945 Phone?

P.D.: The 3550 was replaced by 3560X because a energy fault (3550 is broken now)

Is the new 3560X POE?  What is the part number?

If it is POE, there is no need to turn on any command for Phones to work.

Hi,

Well, the switch model is WS-C3560X-24P-S, but, how did I say before, the phone does not turn up instead of the switch change

Thanks

Hi,

have you tried on another port ?

Can you provide sh int status x/x  and sh power inline detail as well as sh int x/x switchport where x/x is the interface where it is connected.

Regards

Alain
