Thanks for the additional information. The results are quite puzzling. The output of show ip ospf neighbor shows that there are 4 neighbors. But the output of show ip ospf interface indicates these

No backup designated router on this network

Neighbor Count is 0, Adjacent neighbor count is 0

These outputs seem to be mutually contradictory. Is this implemented on real hardware or implemented in some emulator? Is so which emulator?

Unless I am reading it incorrectly this router is the BDR and it has does have 4 neighbors on the port channel interface 172.45.2.1 (the last interface in the output).

Perhaps the neighbors are not advertising any routes ?

Jon

You are correct. I read carefully the first several interfaces (vlan interfaces) and was not as careful as I got toward the bottom on the output and missed the fact that port channel does have OSPF neighbors.

So the question is why are those neighbors not advertising any networks? We need the original poster to provide more detail about the topology and the environment of those neighbors.

Hello,

I agree with Richard, the output does not make much sense. Can you post the full running configuration of this switch and one neigbor ?

Hello,

Can you share a few more outputs as

Show run | se r o

Show ip ospf inter br

show ip protocol
